A Personal Experience

As a student at Corban University, I was excited to receive the university’s calendar for 2023. The calendar is a great way for students to keep track of important dates and events throughout the academic year. As I looked through the calendar, I was impressed by the variety of events and festivals that were listed. I knew that this was going to be a great year at Corban!

World Events and Festivals

One of the things that stood out to me in the Corban University 2023 Calendar were the world events and festivals. The calendar lists a variety of events from different cultures and countries. For example, there is the Chinese New Year celebration in February, the Holi Festival of Colors in March, and the Diwali Festival of Lights in November. These events are a great way for students to learn about different cultures and traditions.

The Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year is one of the most important events in the Chinese calendar. It marks the beginning of a new year and is celebrated with fireworks, dragon dances, and traditional foods. At Corban, students can participate in a variety of activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year, including a dumpling-making workshop and a lantern festival.

The Holi Festival of Colors

The Holi Festival of Colors is a Hindu festival that celebrates the arrival of spring. It is a colorful celebration that involves throwing colored powder and water at each other. At Corban, students can participate in a Holi Festival of Colors event that includes music, dancing, and of course, lots of colors!

The Diwali Festival of Lights

The Diwali Festival of Lights is a five-day festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil. It is celebrated by lighting diyas (lamps) and candles, and decorating homes with colorful rangolis. At Corban, students can participate in a Diwali Festival of Lights event that includes Indian food, music, and dance performances.

List of Events and Festivals

In addition to the world events and festivals, the Corban University 2023 Calendar also includes a variety of other events and activities. Some of these include: – Welcome Week (August) – Homecoming (October) – Christmas at Corban (December) – Spring Break (March) – Finals Week (May)
